Electrees
A 15 track broken beat album (1h 3m 19s) — released August 2nd 2010 on Roca Records
lleist Collective, three guys, Silas, Rene and Miro from Biel in Switzerland, found their own
soundscape to create a record that doesn't follow a specific music genre.
Their debut album 'Electrees' comes with this unique tape recording sound. They
recorded everything analog on a tape recorder to get an old touch on this LP. Everybody
who cares about sound quality will hear the difference and will feel the warm sound of the
live recorded instruments.
Electrees accentuates the diversity of this musicians, tribal club tracks with funky slap bass
elements like the single 'Everytime' come along with slow catchy tracks as 'Luscious
Lady' or 'Weeping Willow'.
Illeist Collective created a record that lays somewhere between Nitin Shawny, Nightmares
On Wax and Moby, peppered with some deep clubby sounds. Is it fusion, electro pop or
rock? It doesn't matter, it's unique!
